"Fornite: Battle Royale" version 3.4 has officially been released, and the game has made a ton of improvements. Everything from bug fixes, to crisper graphics, tutorials, and other helpful corrections, this new update is guaranteed to make "Fortnite: Battle Royale" a much more enjoyable of an experience. A report by Game Spot presented most of the information used in this article.
Game improvements in update 3.4
These corrections made to the iOS version of "Fortnite: Battle Royale" have added a message to inform players on whether their device is compatible with the game.
This way, jailbroken devices cannot run the game, and only devices whose graphics and space are up to par will be able to experience all the benefits of the game. While the part of the update with the most attention is the new Guided Missile and the Sniper Shootout v2 mode, perhaps the most notable improvement is actually the graphics. All compatible devices will now be able to display 4X MSAA anti-aliasing. This new feature makes the graphics sharper and crisper, adding to the experience of the game. The game has also been updated with a new game download system, which will make all future updates much smaller than this one.
Another notable update to the game is the enabled use of whispers and party chats.
Fans have expressed a desire for this feature and are glad it has now been added to the mobile Version of the game. The last big improvement has been the addition of a short tutorial for the tap-to-swing controls, which have caused new players some trouble at first. The addition of the tutorial, which shows at the beginning of the game, will help not only newbies but also skilled players who have not yet gotten the hang of the control fully.
Bug fixes in update 3.4
These new updates have fixed some bugs and crashes that were noted by players during earlier versions of the game. For instance, the game now loads a lot faster on the iPhone X. Epic Games has fixed some visibility bugs. The minimap was reported to have blocked movements and image inputs. The Impulse Grenade effects were notably hard to see when the device being used was on a low setting.
These bugs have now been fixed and the screen is now much easier to see and control.
Inconsistencies and unresponsiveness of some game features have also been fixed. For example, the left fire button and the action of opening treasure chests have been improved to be much more responsive than before. In addition, tap to shoot functions are now a lot more accurate and efficient, Tap, tap, + hold actions have been fixed, so they register more often, single tapping the screen and interacting with the Hud no longer causes misfires, and the Harvesting Tool is now more consistent as well. All these features have made the game more reliable and less frustrating.
A crash which would sometimes occur when rapidly tapping the Epic Friends list was fixed as well.
Lastly, the game now also saves properly when using the Turbo Building and Automatic Material Swapping settings. All these new features, bug fixes, and improvements have made "Fortnite: Battle Royale" that much more addicting to play. As of right now, an Android version is still in the making. Fans stuck with a Samsung phone rather than an iPhone are still awaiting its arrival.
