In case you have been living under a rock for the past few months, you wouldn’t know about the impact “Fortnite: Battle Royale” has made on the whole video game industry. Well, although this game has been very successful ever since its release, it has had its fair share of issues. For example, the developer of “Fortnite: Battle Royale” (Epic Games) is constantly trying to improve the game with new updates, but these new updates bring a whole range of problems. These problems could be players not being able to play the game because of lag, or even audio issues.

Well, now there is a new problem that is going around with certain players of the game, and it involves an addiction.

What's up with this video game becoming an addiction among certain players?

Now, recently, parents have been doing nothing but complaining online about “Fortnite: Battle Royale,” as they believe it is affecting their children in a rather negative way. For example, a Mother went onto a British morning talk show called “This Morning," and she went on to say that her 10-year-old son has become addicted to this game. This is what she had to say to the presenters of the show about her son’s supposed video game addiction “They're living in it with their friends and then when they try to come out of it and come downstairs, everything is boring.”

As you can tell from reading that, this mother claims that her son finds everything else in the real world boring and all he wants to do is escape into this virtual world to have fun with his friends.

It went so far that she said that she had to “pull him off it at eight o'clock, but the game is so full of energy and adrenaline...they are screaming at the television.”

Let's just hope he learns to prioritize his activities in life, so he soon realizes that Video Games aren’t the most important thing in life. I have actually attached a clip below of this mother complaining about the game so you can see with your own eyes what all of the fuss is about.

What else is going on with this video game?

Fortnite: Battle Royale” has been all over the news in recent weeks for both good and bad reasons. Now, this mother may have given the game some negative press, but that hasn’t stooped Epic Games from constantly striving to improve the game. For example, “Fortnite: Battle Royale” has brought out new weapons and skins as well. Nonetheless, be sure to follow Blasting News on social media so you don’t miss out on any video game news.
