In case you have been living under a rock for the past couple of days then you wouldn’t know that the online multiplayer video game “Fortnite: Battle Royale” just recently got a brand new update. This update was called the V.3.0.0 update, and it fixed some issues, but also brought along some problems as well. An example of one of these issues that they brought along with this new update was a lot of lag. These lag issues apparently are happening the most within the first five-to-seven minutes of the multiplayer match. However, Epic Games who is the developer of “Fortnite: Battle Royale,” has finally released their response to all of this lag.
What did Epic Games have to say about the lag issues within this multiplayer online video game?
As mentioned above, Epic Games, who is the developer of “Fortnite: Battle Royale,” has just released a statement regarding the lag issues with their V.3.0.0 update. It is said that the lag features prominently after launching from the Fortnite bus, the landing process, and initial gunfights and interactions, which again usually takes place within the first five-to-seven minutes of the game. Here is a part of their statement that they released on Reddit “With the launch of V.3.0.0, we had a regression in Server performance, which was the culprit of that pesky lag you were experiencing.
This should now be resolved, so please keep us in the loop if you continue to experience lag on any level.” As you can tell from reading that these issues are now resolved so players can go back to playing the new updated version of “Fornite: Battle Royale.”
What else is going on with this video game?
“Fortnite: Battle Royale” has been a fan favorite since its initial release but there have been many in-game issues with the video game since its inception.
Before the V.3.0.0 update, there were major weapon and audio issues that Epic Games has since fixed with the new update. The main issue with the weapons was that there was a Double Pump Shotgun that was incredibly overpowered. For example, when you switched weapons and went back to the Double Pump Shotgun, you didn’t need to reload, which meant it would get you kills so easily.
Since then, Epic Games have made it that you have to pump the weapon before you are able to use it again even when you switch weapons. None the less, to keep up to date with “Fortnite: Battle Royale” news, be sure to follow Blasting News, so you don’t miss anything at all.
