This year has seen a never-ending limited edition bundle of sorts and the upcoming first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty: WWII" has its fair share of the growing trend. On August, the "Call of Duty: WWII" Valor Collection Pro was revealed. The bundled package included the game's 'Pro Edition,' which features a season pass and a nifty steel book case, a collectible Bloodraven sword pin, morale patches and an exclusive Call of Duty: World War Ii Nazi Zombies poster sized at 24″ x 36.″

The Valor Collection Pro featured a commemorative bronze statuette depicting a group of Allied soldiers storming the beach, a fitting piece for any World War II memorabilia collection.

Producers and manufacturers see these items as a way to increase the hype of the games before their launch dates and also as a means to cash in. Fans tend to rush in when video game merchandise is labeled as "limited edition" items, they tend to sell out faster and produce better revenue.

Call of Duty: WWII Big Box

An Amazon listing featured the Call of Duty: WWII Big Box and like the Valor Collection Pro, the item listed on Amazon is a bundled package. The company Exquisite Gaming designed and manufactured the Call of Duty: WWII Big Box, Exquisite Gaming specializes in creating distinct products within the global gaming and e-sports communities.

The COD: WWII Big Box includes a black tactical commando beanie with a COD: WWII logo, a mini cable guy, PVT Ronald Daniels' dog tag, a mess mug designed to have a weathered look, two coasters, two original COD: WWII 300ml glasses and a lithograph.

These seven collectible "Call of Duty" items come in an epic wood crate which provides an authentic World War II feel to this one of a kind collector's item.

A strong background

The team behind "COD: WWII" worked hard to ensure that they provide players with an authentic experience. Apart from the bundles and limited edition items, they invested on core feature of the game.

They have enlisted real-life historian Martin K.A. Morgan to help provide in-depth details about the Second World War and about those who were involved in this enormous conflict.

More than just making money out of expensive memorabilia, developer Sledgehammer Games, and publisher Activision aim to immortalize the sacrifices and triumphs of the brave men and women involved in the second World War.

"Call of Duty: WWII" will be released worldwide on November 3. It will be made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
