A glimpse at Brindleton Bay
Apparently, the teaser image offers a short glimpse at the Brindleton Bay, the new world to be introduced to the much-awaited “Cats and Dogs” DLC.
The new screenshot further shows Sims Brant and Brent taking a selfie snapshot with their house in the background.
Fans can recognize that Brent is also featured in the box art for the upcoming expansion.
The Pets DLC has been long rumored to arrive in the game, with a host of leaks dated since October last year. Fans also discovered several animation game codes in the game’s files suggesting the addition of these adorable house pets to the current Sims title.
Last month, “Cats and Dogs” Expansion Pack was officially announced for release on Windows PC and Mac OS on November 10. The pre-order for this expansion pack is available now at various retailers across different regions and on EA's Origin for a price of $39.99 USD.
Next stuff pack in 2018
In related news, it looks like Maxis just hinted its DLC plans for this year in its newest blog post.
The blog pertains to the recent pack title survey for Eco Living-themed stuff pack.
The image in the said post indicates an “SP13” code for laundry as a future gameplay feature in the stuff pack coming to the title sometime in 2018. The code simply means that the fan-created DLC is the 13th stuff pack.
Interestingly, the freshly released Toddlers Stuff Pack is the 12th pack and it looks like it will be the final one this year.
This means the Sims players will no longer receive any stuff pack within the remaining months of 2017.
The 13th stuff pack currently referred to as Eco Living is slated to arrive next year. So, it will be the first stuff DLC to be launched in the life simulation video game for 2018.
"The Sims 4" is also scheduled to arrive on current-gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4 on November 17. The console version will be packed with the base game including a few selection of DLC packs previously released on the Window PC and Mac platforms.
