PC players who have yet to try Ubisoft’s third-person shooter, “Tom Clancy’s The Division” can do so for free this weekend. It appears that the developer is encouraging more gamers to try and play their game, which is now celebrating its second year in the gaming world. The developer has recently released Update 1.7 for the title. In addition to the free trial, the studio is now giving out massive discounts to those who wish to purchase the game’s Gold Edition as well as the Season Pass.
Free trial schedules
Starting on September 12, 2017, PC gamers can try “Tom Clancy’s The Division” for free.
Fans can try the third-person shooter title with pre-loads in the Uplay client. For those who do not have the Uplay, they can enjoy the game at 7:00 PM CEST on September 14, 2017. The free trial will end at 10:00 PM CEST on September 17, 2017. Players who will try the free game will enjoy the whole base game, as well as the campaigns and the Dark Zone. The progress that players will make in the free trial will be saved in case the players decide to purchase the game.
Massive discounts
In addition to the free trial for PC gamers, Ubisoft is also giving massive discounts to those who would like to purchase the game. The Standard Edition and Gold Edition is now for sale 60 percent less than its original price.
This offer, however, is only for a limited time. Apart from the Gold and Standard Editions, the game’s Season Pass is also discounted.
Upcoming Update
There are lots of things to look forward to in the third-person shooter title from Ubisoft. In fact, the developer is preparing to release more contents and numerous assets in the next update.
The game’s 1.8 Resistance Update is scheduled to release anytime soon. This is the second free update planned by the developer for the second year of the third-person title.
Among the contents included in the Resistance Update are the West Side Pier Map and the new PvE mode. Moreover, there will be a new social club dubbed as Camp Clinton.
Players can also enjoy the new PvP Skirmish mode that will be included in the free update.
“Tom Clancy‘s The Division” is now available. The third-person shooter title from Ubisoft is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
