Electronic Arts (EA) has unleashed a new video trailer for its upcoming action shooter video game, “Star Wars Battlefront 2.” The new trailer seems to reveal all the maps as well as the game modes. The video game company also rolled out the minimum requirements for the game’s PC version, which will kick off next weekend.
The shooter video game’s brand new trailer is being narrated by actor John Boyega, who portrays Finn in the seventh film of the Star Wars franchise - “The Force Awakens.” The new trailer of the video game revealed some infographics showing that the sequel will come along with vehicles and locations three times more than the prequel.
The trailer also showcased the video game’s new single-player mode, the mode that Boyega requested from the original title.
Game’s maps
The new franchise will arrive with prequel-era locations, such as Theed, Kashyyyk, and Kamino. The new game will come with Original Trilogy-era maps, including Hoth, Yavin 4, Death Star II and Mos Eisley. Also, the forthcoming franchise will feature “The Force Awakens” maps, such as Takodana, Starkiller Base as well as Jakku.
GameSpot reported that the Multiplayer Modes of the new game will have two large-scale modes: 24-player Starfighter Assault and 40-player Galactic Assault. Aside from that, the new “Star Wars Battlefront 2” video trailer also showcased other game modes, such as the Heroes vs.
Villains, Blast as well as the Strike.
EA’a new shooter video game will also feature an Arcade mode, allowing “Star Wars Battlefront 2” players to take on AI adversaries and enhances their skills across several scenarios. The battles in this particular mode are also customizable, allowing players to adjust AI’s trooper classes and difficulty, among others.
The PC beta version of the multiplayer kicks off on October 6 and ends on October 9. Gamers who will preorder the sequel before September 30 will be able to play the beta version a bit earlier on October 4.
According to Hot Hardware, the minimum requirements for the PC version of the game include an AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K processor, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB graphics card, 512 KBPS internet connection and a hard drive space of 15GB.
Release date
It’s noteworthy that the video game company will launch the new game with fewer multiplayer modes compared to the original game. The sequel will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on November 17.
