Gun Media and Illfonic recently released a New Update for "Friday the 13th: The Game." The new release is the much-awaited Clothing Update that fans have been waiting since it was revealed a few weeks ago. In addition to the new update, the game also received the Spring Break 1984 DLC. Along with the new expansion is the brand new Emote Wheel. There are also several bug fixes rolled out to the asymmetrical horror title.

Clothing Update

The latest update released to "Friday the 13th: The Game" revamps the interface where the player selects and customizes the items of clothing of their Counselors.The latest update gives players a more organized way of switching outfits, including colors and materials.

The update is a significant addition to pave the way for the new Spring Break 1984 expansion and other DLCs.

New DLC

Gun Media and Illfonic also released the highly anticipated Spring Break 1984 DLC. The new expansion introduces sexy swimwears for male and female Counselors. This includes a swimming trunk for Chad and a bikini for Tiffany. The latest expansion is now available at a discounted price of $1.99. This is a limited-time special offer because the regular price of the Spring Break 1984 DLC is available for $3.99.

Other details

The new Emote Wheel is the brand new addition to the asymmetrical horror title along with the latest update. It features eight customizable slots for the emotes.

This enables players to interact with other Counselors visually. Moreover, the new Emote Wheel eliminates the need to whisper to other players reducing the risk of being heard by Jason. In addition to the brand new emote wheel, several bug fixes are also rolled out to the game. This includes 15 bug fixes for Jason alone.

While the most recent update rolled out new content and several bug fixes in the game, Gun Media and Illfonic still have many plans for the future of the hit asymmetrical horror title.

Players can expect in the several future changes in the gameplay.

It was also revealed in the game's previous update map, that they are working on the infusing a sandbox social area that players can go to in between matches. Other plans to look forward to including making Counselor Tommy Jarvis more heroic. The developer will also equip Jason enabling him to break furniture.

The developer also mentions about having a Single Player mode in the game soon.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" is now available. The hit asymmetrical title is playable now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
