An avid fan of the highly popular life simulation game, The Sims 4,” has uncovered a Secret in-game clue hinting the possible addition of cats and dogs through the hotly speculated Pets DLC.

Secret in-game clue found

In the Sims official forum, simmer Izzeh96 revealed that the base game has added three brand new swatches for a toilet paper holder object. Despite that this is not something new since this object was already in the game since launch, it was only until recently when these new swatches were discovered, with either an over or under roll version of the toilet paper.

The image shared via Sims Community showed two versions of the toilet paper, where one is placed over and the other one, under. Now, this is quite intriguing as it seems knowing how the latter version may indicate an in-game reference to the possible Pets DLC coming to the current Sims title.

For the uninitiated, anyone who does have pets at home, specifically cats, would have the toilet paper in an under roll version. Why? Pretty much the reason for it is so that cats or dogs won’t be able to easily unroll the toilet paper.

While some fans viewed this hint as rather far-fetched, still, a majority of them wish it is true that “The Sims 4” will likely get one of the fans’ most wanted DLCs for the game.

There has been a slew of leaks and data mined game files suggesting that the Pets expansion will ultimately arrive sooner than later.

Two credible game retailers online from Czech and Slovakia unintentionally leaked the Pets Expansion Pack release date on November 10 including its possible price. Thus, many are convinced that dogs and cats will be added eventually before the year ends.

It is still advised that just like any leak, fans should take it with a grain salt until Maxis or EA make an official announcement about the Pets DLC for TS4.
