Bethesda often said that the making of The Elder Scrolls 6 will still be years away, but the game enthusiasts are still hopeful that it will soon come. In fact, fans have been continuously looking for some hints and clues that will lead them to believe that the game is now in production.

The video game company is often insisting that it still has a lot of other projects on hand before it will finally put its focus on “The Elder Scrolls 5” follow-up. But, as the Gamescom 2017 is about to start, the title’s followers have high hopes to hear new updates about their much-awaited game.

The much-awaited announcement

According to Gaming Bolt, fans are hoping to hear Bethesda’s announcement about “The Elder Scrolls 6” at the coming Gamescom 2017. But, it seems like it would never be the case.

Aside from often denying the making of the much-anticipated title, the video game company is religiously following a marketing strategy where its games’ release follows a sacred routine with distinct periods.

Each of the studio’s games is released after a couple of months of its official announcement. As Bethesda already announced the coming of “Wolfenstein: The New Colossus,” “The Evil within 2,” and “Dishonored: Death of the Outsider” this 2017, “TES6” is not part of the list. With that, it is now expected that the company is going to reveal the making of “TES6” in 2018.

Earnings and profits

With the continued success of “Skyrim” new release, re-released and remastered editions on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the Switch, and the PSVR, it looks like Bethesda has no plans to stop creating new installments for the game franchise.

Thus, “The Elder Scrolls 6” is expected to come in no time.

Sales and profits wise, the title is still selling like hot potatoes in the market.

This might indicate that the game enthusiasts are not yet done with the title and still craving for more. Bethesda can still earn more and be much-known if “TES6” comes. It might be taking its time to make it much better as possible so that fans would love the game even more.

The job hiring

Meanwhile, the game world was shaken when fans saw a new hiring post from ZeniMax Media, Bethesda’s subsidiary.

With that, a lot of game enthusiasts believe that it has a connection with the making of “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Tweak Town reported that it is true that the video game company is looking for 20 new employees for its in-house Rockville, the MD-based Bethesda Game Studios. The mentioned studio is said to be different from Bethesda Softworks, although it is still under one umbrella. ZeniMax is the parent company, and ZeniMax Online is the one responsible for “The Elder Scrolls Online,” so it might have no link with “TES6” production at all.
