"Star Wars: Battlefront 2" is poised to be much better than the original title for quite a number of factors when it launches this November.
The sequel gets to have a fresh story campaign, revamped gameplay, all the heroes and villains, and maps from the Star Wars universe. In addition, it includes some free expansion packs post-release but apart from all that, it also shows incredibly amazing graphics.
Graphics look incredible
Fresh from Gamescom 2017 tease, the current pre-alpha build of the game really looks impressive running 1080 at 60fps on Ps4 Pro.
Apparently, the development of this AAA title is powered by Frostbite, Electronic Arts’ proprietary engine used in the popular EA games like “FIFA 18,” and “Mass Effect: Andromeda.”
Back at Europe’s biggest annual gaming convention last week, game analyst Richard Leadbetter of Digital Foundry was able to get his hands on “Star Wars: Battlefront 2” Starfighter Assault space combat mode.
In his analysis, he also mentioned that the game was running at 1080p on Sony’s PS4 Pro, keeping a 60 frame per second with only a few instances of dropping to 50fps while getting inside a map’s large space station.
It is further noted that this only represents the game’s pre-alpha code. So, it is highly like that the final version of the game will feature a resolution higher than 1080p.
But it remains to be seen how the PS4 Pro version will fare against Microsoft’s next powerful gaming console, the Xbox One X. Also, the publisher is yet to announce the system specs required to run the game on PC platform.

The sequel is currently touted as one the highly anticipated AAA titles coming this holiday season. From the looks of it, the next entry in the franchise has already shown a lot of impressive improvement in comparison to the first Battlefront game launched in November 2015.
“Star Wars: Battlefront 2” is currently in development by DICE, Motive, and developer Criterion, which is known for more than a decade of experience in making racing video games. The upcoming title is slated to arrive on November 17 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, about a month prior to the official theatrical premiere of “Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi” on December 13.
