Capcom is slated to launch the survival horror video game, “Resident Evil: Revelations,” to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 29. However, the game and its sequel will be available to Nintendo Switch later this year.
Capcom’s survival horror video game was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2012, and it featured the adventure of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine when the characters were made to investigate Queen Zenobia’s abandoned cruise ship. Eurogamer reported that the sequel of “Resident Evil Revelations” was launched in 2015. Wherein, the sequel’s focal point was about the characters Barry Burton and Claire Redfield.
Features
According to IB Times, the “Resident Evil Revelations” version of Nintendo Switch will come along with an improved frame-rate, a smoother 1920 x 1080 resolution, refined creature movement and an increased environmental detail. Meanwhile, Polygon pointed out that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will get the unlockable rewards and all of the previously released downloadable content (DLC). Nonetheless, the Raid Mode of the video game will come along with The Ghost Ship: Chaos, which will feature changes to the placement of the enemies and more powerful weapons. Nevertheless, Capcom is said to be preparing more games for the new gaming system.
Console’s 3.0.1 firmware update
On the other hand, Nintendo rolled out the 3.0.1 firmware update for its latest gaming system.
As reported by Nintendo Life, the 3.0.1 system update appears to address the battery charge indicator issues of Nintendo Switch. The console’s on-screen charge indicator is troubled by a bug that incorrectly displays the status of the battery when the gaming system is connected to the AC adaptor.
In just a matter of minutes, the gaming device’s battery will go from a full charge to a nearly drain.
Also, even after the console is sitting in its dock for hours, it won’t indicate if the battery is charged.
Nevertheless, the Nintendo Switch 3.0.1 system update doesn’t appear to be a perfect fix to the issue, in which further steps are necessary. The Japanese tech giant stated on its website that if the battery power display of Nintendo Switch suddenly increases or decreases, it needs to follow a multi-step process to gradually improve. The steps include charging the console, draining the battery of the device completely, as well as rinsing and repeating. In spite of that, the whole process could take several hours.
