Of course, having the money to buy a Nintendo Switch is just a first step to owning the console. But hey, it is not just about acquiring this robust joy-con, as you have to know which games to play. After all, it is how things work.

The console does not have a truckload of games (yet). Nevertheless, there is no doubt that a good number of them are enough to keep you up all night.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

If there is a game on Nintendo Switch that can best define creativity in video games, it is no other than “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.” It is a monumental artistic achievement, so to speak.

And not just that: the title is also equipped with lots of surprises, making it the best installment in the series so far.

Unlike the previous “Zelda” games, you are not allowed to go beyond this place until the game’s system says so. With the latest iteration, however, it completely defies this odd.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Well, this is not a surprise. Adding “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” to the list is as necessary as Mike Portnoy’s drumroll. Kidding aside, this kart racing game, like the title mentioned above, also veers away from the class Wii U version. There are features and even race tracks that were not offered from the original game.

This Nintendo Switch game is a must-have for everyone who wants to experience the thrill of racing at the grasp of their hands.

Give it a try, and you will surely dig it.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

“Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” is a trip to memory lane, especially to those who fell in love with the classic NES-era platforms. It is a game perfectly developed with the nicest of controls, feel-good music, and amiable characters, to name a few. Add to these the interesting features the developers added, something to give the game a touch of what is modern.

As of this writing, the game already has two expansions, with a third one already headed on its way. If you are an always on-the-go player, then you better bang your buck with this game.

Snipperclips

Whoever said that playing with papers and a few clips is a big no-no, better back up what they say. In “Snipperclips: Cut It Out Together,” you can partner with a friend so as to take control a pair of fun and goofy little paper characters in Nintendo Switch.

Players here even have the chance to cut these paper guys into the weirdest of stuff.

But of course, they only have to do so in hopes to solve a puzzle. And take note: this puzzle is no elementary type of thing; it is a complicated one that can be likened to physics and math.

I am Setsuna

“I am Setsuna” was originally released in 2016 and later found its way to Nintendo Switch. Developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, the game is a mix of sweet and sorrow experience. Interestingly, this chilling experience is blended with an eargasmic soundtrack, along with a splendid art and loveable characters. Apparently, it borrows some elements from the likes of “Final Fantasy X,” with a combat system inspired by “Chrono Trigger.” All in all, this is a great addition to your library of games.
