Nintendo’s all about the Switch at this year’s E3 event. The company finally announced the official release date of the highly anticipated “Super Mario Odyssey.” But not only that, the game developer giant also announced new game titles for their hybrid console that will surely make Switch owners ecstatic.

Nintendo announced new games such as “Metroid Prime 4,” “Rocket League” and more.

'Super Mario Odyssey' arrives on October 27

Mark your calendars, the next Mario game is set to arrive on Oct. 27 this year. Nintendo also released a new trailer for the game which can be seen below.

In the trailer, the game introduces its new character, Mario’s hat named Cappy. Players are able to toss Cappy onto different characters and enemies to make them Mario’s tools.

The game is visually stunning as one would expect from a Mario game. However, the game levels not just take Mario to the usual desert and ice worlds that players have been accustomed to, “Odyssey” also takes our Italian hero to urban cityscapes.

Metroid Prime 4 is coming to the Switch

“Metroid” fans should be excited about the announcement of the next installment of the franchise for the Nintendo Switch. Sadly, details about the game are not yet known other than the fact that it’s already in development.

It's been 10 years since the last installment, “Metroid Prime 3: Corruption,” was developed for the original Nintendo Wii. It would be interesting to see what changes Nintendo will make for such a highly popular title.

You can watch the announcement below.

'Rocket League' will come to the Switch, finally

Good news for “Rocket League” fans, the game is heading to the Switch this coming holiday season.

This game was a surprise hit when it was released in 2015 for the PS4 and PC, so much so that it found its way to the Xbox One and Mac OS in 2016, and now to the Switch as well.

This version will include exclusive Nintendo-themed customization items and cars. In addition, the game will also feature cross-network online multiplayer against other platforms.

A new Yoshi game for the Switch

The latest Yoshi game for the Switch looks to be a combination of “Yoshi’s Woolly World” and “Paper Mario.” The main character is Yoshi, but the visuals look like it’s made out of a cardboard box. Nevertheless, it still looks stunning, to say the least.

Moreover, the game still packs in the usual side-scrolling action and egg-tossing mechanics that people have grown to love.
