With Week 6 now in the books, let’s take a look at the players who fared quite well in fantasy despite being mostly unowned.
To be eligible for the list, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues entering the week’s games. Each week, one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end will be highlighted.
QB - Phillip Rivers, Colts (371 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, -1 rushing yards)
Rivers nearly equaled his touchdown production entering Week 6 on Sunday as he threw just four in the Colts’ first five games. His 371 passing yards were his most since November 18, 2018.
Most players tell you they never read what you write and don’t care if it’s positive or negative. And then there is Philip Rivers. I love this: pic.twitter.com/mH6bXFxMmt

RB - J.D. McKissic, Football Team (41 rushing yards, 6 receptions, 43 receiving yards)
With eight carries in Week 6, McKissic tied a season-high. He will likely be one of the top waiver pickups, especially in PPR-leagues, as he has totaled 19 receptions over the last three games.
These players are tied for 40th in the league with 23 receptions on the year...

RB - Giovani Bernard, Bengals (15 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 3 receptions, 13 receiving yards)
In Week 6, Bernard started the scoring with a two-yard score against the Colts. That was his first rushing touchdown since he found paydirt twice on the ground on September 30, 2018.

WR - Adam Humphries, Titans (6 receptions, 64 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)

Ryan kept targeting Murray in slot vs Adam
TE - Anthony Firkser, Titans (8 receptions, 113 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
An ankle injury for Jonnu Smith thrust Firkser into a much larger role and did he ever capitalize. He easily surpassed previous career-highs of four catches and 52 receiving yards on Sunday.
