With Week 7 now in the books after the Rams’ Monday Night Football victory over the Bears, let’s again take a look at the weekly fantasy stars who were mostly unowned.
To be eligible for this list, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. Each week, one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end will be spotlighted.
QB - Baker Mayfield, Browns (297 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, -1 rushing yards)
Amazingly, Mayfield made this list after throwing an interception on his first pass attempt and not completing a single pass in the first quarter. The third-year quarterback set a new career-high with five touchdown throws, three of which came in the fourth quarter.

RB - Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers (112 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 2 receptions, 8 receiving yards)
With Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman both shelved with injury, Wilson Jr. easily saw his most action and recorded a touchdown in each of the first three quarters on Sunday. Unfortunately, he also suffered a high ankle sprain, which will keep him out at minimum for the next three games, according to ESPN.

RB - Wayne Gallman, Giants (34 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 5 receptions, 20 receiving yards)
Entering Thursday’s game with just 15 carries and five catches, Gallman became New York’s lead back after Devonta Freeman left with an ankle injury. He equaled that number of receptions in Week 7 alone and scored his first touchdown on the ground this year in the third quarter.

WR - Scotty Miller, Buccaneers (6 receptions, 109 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
After back-to-back 83-yard performances in Weeks 3 and 4, Miller combined to grab just one ball for six yards in Weeks 5 and 6. Week 7 was the first time that the second-year receiver went over the century mark in receiving yards.

WR - Nelson Agholor, Raiders (5 receptions, 107 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
Starting for the third straight week, Agholor has found the end zone in each of those three games. He was much more productive in Week 7, though, receiving nine targets after combining for six in the previous two outings.

TE - Harrison Bryant, Browns (4 receptions, 56 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns)
Austin Hooper had an appendectomy, which caused him to miss Week 7. Enter Bryant, a fourth-round pick in 2020, who caught two of Mayfield’s five touchdown passes.
