With the NBA set to return in late July, the league has invited 22 teams to Orlando to finish out the 2019-20 season.
The bottom eight teams in the league will be forced to watch from home. Here is the most important upcoming free agent for each of those franchises. Those with player or team options were not included.
(The free agents list was found at Spotrac.)
Atlanta Hawks - Jeff Teague, PG (unrestricted)
While the Hawks already have Trae Young entrenched as their starting point guard, they did acquire Teague in January to back him up. Previously playing for the Hawks from 2009-10 to 2015-16, the 32-year-old averaged 7.7 points and four assists in his 25 games for Atlanta in 2019-20.
He even broke his brother's ankles!

Charlotte Hornets - Bismack Biyombo, C (unrestricted)
In what was his ninth season, Biyombo actually averaged a career-best scoring average of 7.4 in 2019-20. While the 27-year-old hasn’t lived up to the billing of being picked seventh overall in 2011, he has at least proven to be a solid rim projector.

Chicago Bulls - Kris Dunn, PG (restricted)
The 26-year-old Dunn has yet to validate his draft position of fifth overall in 2016, but he has become an excellent on-ball defender. He finished 2019-20 averaging two steals in 24.9 minutes per contest.

He's 1st among all point guards in Defensive RPM this season (2.58) and 2nd in the league behind Rudy Gobert.
In Defensive PIPM, he's 2nd among all point guards (behind Kris Dunn) and 14th overall in the league.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Tristan Thompson, C (unrestricted)
With Andre Drummond likely to pick up his player option, the Cavaliers may decide to move on from the 29-year-old Thompson. For the second straight season in 2019-20, he averaged a double-double (12 points, 10.1 rebounds).
Answering #Cavs biggest questions this offseason:

-Tristan Thompson's future
-Salary cap restrictions
-Another guard in draft?
-Kevin Love trade
-Drummond opt-inhttps://t.co/YkPwuxEkJB
Detroit Pistons - Christian Wood, PF/C (unrestricted)
Wood became the most productive player on the Pistons after Blake Griffin went down with injury. In his last 15 games, the 24-year-old posted averages of 22.3 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 56.2 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point territory.
You delivered plenty of questions for @Keith_Langlois on Christian Wood, Blake, D-Rose and more.

Golden State Warriors - Dragan Bender, PF (unrestricted)
The Warriors theoretically don’t have any free agents (have some players like Marquese Chriss with no guaranteed deals for next season), but Bender was in the middle of his second 10-day contact when the stoppage in play occurred. Drafted fourth overall in 2016, the 22-year-old has yet to make much of an impact in the league, but he did average nine points and 5.9 rebounds in nine outings for Golden State.

From the one and only Dragan Bender to Jayson Tatum’s HS teammate Tyler Cook, there is some talent on the market.https://t.co/iEHHr9JH8M https://t.co/DNlo61tsYP
Minnesota Timberwolves - Malik Beasley, SG (restricted)
Traded to Minnesota by the Nuggets on February 5, the 23-year-old Beasley started all 13 games for his new team. Moving away from a Denver team filled with depth, he averaged 20.7 points and 5.1 rebounds while playing 33.1 minutes per game for the Timberwolves. Katie Davidson of NBA.com wrote of how Beasley took advantage of his expanded playing time.

New York Knicks - Damyean Dotson, SG/SF (restricted)
The 26-year-old Dotson saw less playing time than in 2018-19 when he started 40 games. He can score in spurts and has proven to be a slight above-average three-point shooter (36.2 percent in 2019-20, 36.1 percent for his three-year career).
Knicks are lucky Damyean Dotson is about to be a restricted free agent. Someone's going to throw some money at him. https://t.co/bdDmSOONWp
