A week ago, Tekashi 6ix9ine was granted release from jail into house arrest due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though he has a criminal record that includes using a child in a sexual performance, firearms charges among other criminal acts, 6ix9ine has made a strong positive impact in his community and other communities around the world. Now that he's out of jail and will be free from house arrest on August 2, he plans on steering clear of any criminal acts and changing his image in the minds of the world. Here are times where 6ix9ine helped people in need and made a positive impact.

Spends day with 8-year-old girl battling cancer

On October 22, 2018, Tekashi 6ix9ine spent the whole day with an eight-year-old girl named Tati who was battling brain cancer. Her wish was to meet 6ix9ine and he made it happen. He also took her out on a shopping spree.

Momma's boy

For his mom's 55th birthday, he surprised her with a cake and a ton of cash moving her to tears. Growing up, his family didn't have a lot of money which forced 6ix9ine to work odd jobs and deal drugs, as a child, to support his family.

Another dream come true

The kids love 6ix9ine. A five-year-old boy named Franklin was battling stage four terminal brain cancer. His last wish was to meet 6ix9ine and, guess what? You know it! Tekashi 6ix9ine made it happen. To help Franklin's family out, 6ix9ine paid off their rent for a year and started a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money for them. Some of his fans even donated. Unfortunately, Franklin passed later away.

Homecoming

When 6ix9ine went to Mexico, he went to the school where his mother attended and handed out $100 bills to students. While 6ix9ine was born in New York, he's very proud of his Mexican heritage.

King of New York

The day before he put out his hit song "FEFE," 6ix9ine was kidnapped and hospitalized because of the event. As he stated - tomorrow isn't promised, he said that he was going to donate a portion of the money he made off of "FEFE" to local New York charities. He also handed out money to kids at a park.

Turned pro?

A day after he was released from legal custody in July 2018, he went to a soccer field in New York and handed out $20 bills to kids that were playing soccer.

As 6ix9ine feuded with multiple Chicago rappers like Chief Keef, Lil Reese and others in Chicago, when he went to Chicago, he gave out meals to the homeless community and money to people in need. He made more of an impact in Chicago than its own rappers have.

Making a difference in a third world country

When 6ix9ine went to the Dominican Republic, to shoot the music video for "Gotti," he gave out $100 bills to people who were in dire need of money. Half of the music video for "Gotti" is of him handing out money to Dominican residents.

Always remember where you came from

6ix9ine went to a local school where he grew up, in Bushwick, New York, and gave kids an inspirational speech telling them to follow their dreams and not listen to people that put them down for their aspirations. He also donated money to the school to improve student life.
