Due to the Coronavirus, professional sports have been put on hold as people are told to go into self-quarantine to prevent the virus from spreading to more people. While no sports have been boring for players and fans, some players and teams benefit from the suspension of games as some players and teams can rest up and potentially do better when their season resumes. Here are the beneficiaries as sports is put on hold.

1

Vladimir Tarasenko

Tarasenko suffered a shoulder injury that likely would have ended his season, but he will be able to come back with the season on hold. When he was healthy, he had 10 points in as many games. [image source: Michael Miller- Wikimedia Commons]

2

Jake Guentzel

Like Tarasenko, Guentzel suffered a shoulder injury and wouldn't have returned in the regular season for the Penguins. He had 20 goals and 23 assists in 39 games played. [image source: Michael Miller- Wikimedia Commons]
