'Watchmen' - HBO
While initially it was irritating to have to wait each week for the latest episode, for those with patience, the whole first season of “Watchmen” is now available for streaming on HBO. The show is a little dark, and complicated, but well worth the watch as you head to the finale episode.
'His Dark Materials' - HBO
This one is also on HBO and the show has already reached the finale episode, so it’s definitely worth a binge. Watch “His Dark Materials” to find out what happens with Lyra and her pals at the North Pole and how their and our worlds are connected.
'A Very Murray Christmas' (2015) - Netflix
If you are still in the mood for some Christmas jingle, this one has been on Netflix since 2015. Join Bill Murray and a plethora of other stars, including Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman and many more.
'The Witcher' - Season 1 - Netflix
One of the great things about Netflix is, when they have new shows, the whole season is then available for streaming – a serious binge in other words! Henry Cavill makes a very handsome monster hunter in his role of the Witcher himself. This one dropped on December 20, so it’s fairly recent.
'Home for Christmas' - Netflix
If you still want more Christmas, and can handle sub-titles, “Home for Christmas” is a fun watch. Likely many of us can relate to Johanne, home for the Christmas holidays and sitting at the table, surrounded by family. Everyone is in a relationship, except her, so she decides to lie and say she has a boyfriend.
