We have reached the halfway point, for most fantasy football leagues, as the majority of head-to-head leagues end after Week 16.
While the team you drafted goes a long way towards how successful you are, the waiver wire can sometimes play just as large of a role.
Here are the top fantasy performers who, mostly, went undrafted. One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end will be highlighted.
Fantasy Pros takes the average draft position of players from various well-known websites to draft from such as ESPN and Yahoo and averages them out. Players would be eligible for this list if their average draft position, from those websites, was more than 180 (180 players are drafted in a 10 team, 18 round draft).
Quarterback - Matthew Stafford, Lions
2018 was a down year for Stafford after he threw for between 4,257 and 5,038 yards every season from 2011-2017. Thus far in 2019, he has a stellar 4-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio (16 to 4) and ranks fourth in the NFL averaging 299 yards passing per game.

Running back - Chase Edmonds, Cardinals
Much of Edmonds’ damage came in Weeks 5-7 when he totaled five touchdowns (had 126 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Week 7 alone). Unfortunately for Edmonds, a hamstring injury suffered in Week 8 is expected to keep him out at least a few weeks according to SI.com.

Wide receiver - D.J. Chark, Jaguars
After a nondescript 2018 rookie season, Chark has emerged as one of the most-productive receivers in 2019. He currently ranks 10th in the league averaging 82.5 receiving yards per game and has scored six times in eight games.
