The Golden State Warriors were unable to complete a three-peat after losing in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
It will be an interesting offseason for Golden State especially since two of their free agents, Kevin Durant (expected to opt out as he has a player option for next season) and Klay Thompson, suffered major injuries in this year's NBA Finals which could keep them out all of next season.
Here are the notable upcoming free agents for the Warriors (listed in alphabetical order by last name). Their free agents list was taken from Spotrac. Ages listed are how old they will be once the new season begins.
Jordan Bell (C) - Restricted, Age: 24
Many expected Bell to play a larger role this season, but that didn't happen. He saw his minutes decrease in both the regular season (14.2 to 11.6) and the postseason (10.2 to 7.1) when compared to his rookie season of 2017-18.
Andrew Bogut (C) - Unrestricted, Age: 34
The 7-0 Bogut signed with Golden State in early March for his 14th NBA season. He provided strong rebounding and interior defense for the team albeit in limited playing time.
Quinn Cook (PG) - Restricted, Age: 26
Cook has filled in well when Stephen Curry hasn't been available, and he has shot 41.8 percent from three-point territory in his two seasons with Golden State. Unfortunately, his accuracy has dipped to 27.7 percent in his 34 playoff games.
DeMarcus Cousins (C) - Unrestricted, Age: 29
A four-time All-Star, Cousins didn't have quite the previous impact as he did earlier in his career after coming back from a torn Achilles late in the year. He played just 30 regular season games and seven of the 17 playoff games for Golden State this season.
Kevin Durant (PF/SF) - Player option for $31.5 million, Age: 31
There is a chance that Durant will miss all of next season after he suffered a torn Achilles in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. He averaged 26 points a contest in 2018-19, the 11th straight season his scoring average was 25+ points.
Jonas Jerebko (PF) - Unrestricted, Age: 32
The 2018-19 season was Jerebko's first with Golden State. While his playing time dwindled considerably in the playoffs, he averaged 6.3 points and 3.9 rebounds in 73 regular season contests (16.7 minutes per game).
Kevon Looney (C/PF) - Unrestricted, Age: 23
Looney has seen his playing time and stats improve in each subsequent season during his four-year career. This season's career-best averages included 6.3 points and 5.2 boards a game.
Klay Thompson (SG) - Unrestricted, Age: 29
Kevin Durant wasn't the only player to suffer a major injury as Thompson tore his ACL in Game 6 and could miss all of next season. He averaged 21.5 points in 2018-19, the fifth straight year that he averaged at least 20.
