On Thursday (May 2), the New York Giants announced the signings of 13 undrafted free agents. These players should not be seen as afterthoughts to fans as the Giants have had success with undrafted free agents before, most notably Victor Cruz.

Below is a brief look at each undrafted player signed by the Giants as rookie minicamp gets ready to begin on Friday (May 3).

Paul Adams (OT) - Missouri

Adams was a three-year starter at right tackle for Missouri who is listed at 6-6, 315 lbs, according to mutigers.com.

Jake Carlock (S) - LIU Post

Carlock was a nominee for the Cliff Harris Award (given to the top small school defensive player in Divisions II, III, and NAIA) who led LIU Post in tackles. He also recorded five interceptions in two years there.

C.J. Conrad (TE) - Kentucky

Conrad had his most productive year as a senior in 2018, totaling 30 receptions for 318 yards and three touchdowns. In his collegiate career, he caught 80 passes for 12 scores.

Eric Dungey (QB) - Syracuse

In 2018, Dungey became Syracuse's all-time passing yards leader finishing with 9,340 in his career. Last year, he completed 60 percent of his passes with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Jeremiah Harris (DE) - Eastern Michigan

Last year, in 13 games, Harris finished with 64 tackles, five sacks, and an interception. Over the last three seasons, he sacked the quarterback 15 times.

Nate Harvey (DE) - East Carolina

Harvey was the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. His superb season consisted of 12 sacks and 24.5 tackles for a loss.

Jon Hilliman (RB) - Rutgers

After three years at Boston College, Hilliman played for Rutgers last season. He rushed for 337 yards on 83 carries but was more productive as a junior with Boston College. At BC he finished with 638 rushing yards.

Mark McLaurin (S) - Mississippi State

While McLaurin did not pick off a pass last season, he had six as a junior in 2017. He did finish with 74 tackles in 13 games last year.

James O'Hagan (C) - Buffalo

O'Hagan was a four-year starter in college for Buffalo. He was named to the Rimington Trophy (given to the nation's top center) Preseason Watch List in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Josiah Tauaefa (LB) - UTSA

For the second time in the last three years, Tauaefa ended the season with over 100 tackles. He had 4.5 sacks last year and forced two fumbles.

Jacob Thieneman (S) - Purdue

While he didn't have an interception last season, Theineman did deflect five passes and record 74 tackles. He did have two interceptions as a junior and one as a sophomore.

Alex Wesley (WR) - Northern Colorado

In each of the past two seasons, Wesley had over 1,000 receiving yards. In both of these seasons, he also averaged an impressive 18.4 yards per catch.

Reggie White Jr. (WR) - Monmouth

Last year, White Jr. set a new school record at Monmouth with 1,133 receiving yards. He caught 11 touchdown passes, as well, and had 31 of them in four years of college.
