If you haven't heard about "Generation Zero" yet, then it's about time you did. The game is being developed by Avalanche Studios and published by THQ Nordic. Releasing later in March, the game will land on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and will bring a unique flavor to the survival horror genre.
Meet, the Hip-Hopper
On March 1, "Generation Zero" unveiled one of playable characters in the game. The Hip-Hopper looks exactly like you might expect such a character to look. It should be pointed out that THQ Nordic has said this is the base look and players will be able to modify to their tastes.
[The Hip-Hopper] Welcome to the first in a series of blogs where we introduce you to all of the "base" character types in Generation Zero. These can of course be modified at any time depending on which customization items you find whilst exploring! https://t.co/9CgLZZBPxH

Welcome to Sweden
The upcoming title is set in a kind of alternate 1980s small town in Sweden. This setting gives the game a unique look from what you've seen in most other horror survival games.
What are these mechs?
When players begin the game, they will find themselves in the Swedish town, where everyone has vanished and the only thing moving are murderous robots and mechs.
If you ever wondered how much talent and passion the Dev team have for Generation Zero, take a look at this! <3 https://t.co/O27x71MOBr

Combination horror and mystery
A major part of the game is fighting your way through waves of robotic enemies. The other part is figuring out just what is happening, why the machines are here, and where everyone went.
An important question coming at you for a Monday! Which would you rather fight, one giant tank-sized tick, or a swarm of teeny tick-sized tanks? Comment and let us know! pic.twitter.com/2cwchgrG1H

Coming March 26
"Generation Zero" is set to release for consoles and the PC on March 26, 2019. You'll be able to play as the Hip-Hopper and other characters that will be revealed throughout the month.
Just ONE MONTH until Generation Zero launches on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. What are you most looking forward to getting to grips with when the game arrives on March 26th?
