Has David Bote figured it out?

Willson Contreras is back

Like Bote, and really the rest of the team, Willson Contreras had a bad second half of 2018. People forget he had a very good first half. That good and rested Contreras looks like he's back. He played great defense on Sunday and went 1-for-2 with a run scored and is hitting .389 this spring.

4

Kyle Hendricks wasn't great

Hendricks hasn't exactly been sharp so far. Yes, it's only spring but he allowed three runs in three innings and he has an ERA over six so far.

5

Brandon Kintzler continues to struggle

The Cubs are hoping reliever Brandon Kintzler can be a contributor this year. So far, it's not looking great. He allowed a run in an inning of work and has an ERA of 7.36 this spring.
