Ian Happ is having problems
The Cubs' young phenom is having problems hitting. He was 0-for-4 on Sunday and is hitting just .107 on the Spring.
Jed Hoyer on Ian Happ: "The league made some adjustments to him, and now he has to adjust back. ... He's making those adjustments."

Has David Bote figured it out?
The Cubs utility man got off to a great start last season, then tailed off. Now he's having himself a spring. He's hitting .438 and was 1-for-3 with a run scored.
David Bote made some offensive adjustments this winter to address his weaknesses...and promptly swung and missed the first 15 times he faced live pitching in Arizona.

Willson Contreras is back
Like Bote, and really the rest of the team, Willson Contreras had a bad second half of 2018. People forget he had a very good first half. That good and rested Contreras looks like he's back. He played great defense on Sunday and went 1-for-2 with a run scored and is hitting .389 this spring.
Don't try to steal anything with Willson Contreras around.
