The Nebraska basketball team squared off against NCAA Tournament-bound Iowa on Sunday afternoon in the regular season finale for both teams. The Huskers emerged victorious in overtime, 93-91. There are several things that stood out in the victory.
Fight we haven't seen in a while
The Huskers have heard a lot about how they seem to have quit this season. They certainly didn't do it against Iowa. They took the game to overtime and then managed to hold off Iowa.
Nebraska refuses to quit, and it’s now a 78-76 deficit. Iowa going to the line with 27.1 left.

Bench played a big role
None of the Huskers' bench players saw a ton of minutes, but when they were needed most, they all stepped up in the final minutes and helped the Cornhuskers to victory.
Amir Harris. Johnny Trueblood. Thorir Thorbjnarnarson. All made huge plays under a minute to go in OT.

Who the heck would write that script?
Isaiah Roby showed his stuff
Wearing the number of injured teammate Isaac Copeland on Saturday, Roby had perhaps his best game as a Husker. He scored 23 points, thanks in large part to going 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. He also pulled down eight rebounds and had three blocks.

Senior leadership
Glynn Watson and James Palmer Jr played their final home games as Huskers on Sunday. Watson scored 23 points by hitting 7-of-12 from 3-point land. Palmer led the team in scoring, with 27, while also dishing out six assists
One more time at PBA.#Nebrasketball seniors Glynn Watson Jr., Tanner Borchardt, Isaac Copeland Jr., Johnny Trueblood and James Palmer Jr. look to go out as winners in their final home game for the #Huskers.

Swan song or job saver?
The fight the Huskers showed is the kind of fight Tim Miles has been looking for from his team for over a month. Did the fact they finally found that fight save his job? Or was it just a nice home sendoff as he ends his career in Lincoln? Time will tell.
Tim Miles said in the postgame show on Husker Sports Network that making sure this season didn’t finish with a losing record might seem minor, but “it means something of how you put that number up there.” FWIW, also puts Miles’ career record at NU at 113-112.
