The Nebraska basketball team squared off against NCAA Tournament-bound Iowa on Sunday afternoon in the regular season finale for both teams. The Huskers emerged victorious in overtime, 93-91. There are several things that stood out in the victory.

1

Fight we haven't seen in a while

The Huskers have heard a lot about how they seem to have quit this season. They certainly didn't do it against Iowa. They took the game to overtime and then managed to hold off Iowa.

2

Bench played a big role

None of the Huskers' bench players saw a ton of minutes, but when they were needed most, they all stepped up in the final minutes and helped the Cornhuskers to victory.

3

Isaiah Roby showed his stuff

Wearing the number of injured teammate Isaac Copeland on Saturday, Roby had perhaps his best game as a Husker. He scored 23 points, thanks in large part to going 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. He also pulled down eight rebounds and had three blocks.
