There were just a handful of games to be played before teams took off for the All-Star break. Among the teams in action on Thursday night were the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Charlotte Hornets. Here are the five players who came up with big performances on Thursday.

Russell Westbrook - Oklahoma City Thunder

Westbrook achieved yet another triple-double, but unfortunately in a losing effort. However, it was also a 40-point triple-double. The former NBA MVP finished the game with 44 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists in a 131-122 loss to New Orleans.

Julius Randle - New Orleans Pelicans

On the winning side, Randle was amongst the stars of the night for the Pelicans. He finished with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists in the team's win.

Nikola Vucevic - Orlando Magic

Orlando recorded a dominant 127-89 victory over the visiting Hornets on Thursday. Vucevic powered them with a full stat line of 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, a block, and a steal.

Dennis Smith Jr. - New York Knicks

The sophomore point guard has a new home in NYC. On Thursday night, he helped get his new team a win with 19 points, seven assists, and two rebounds.

Jrue Holiday - New Orleans Pelicans

Holiday helped out in the 133-122 win over OKC, as he put in 32 points on 12-for-27 shooting. The Pelicans point guard also had seven assists, five rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in the victory.
