On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans. It featured the man the team was trying to trade for, Anthony Davis, as well as a player they traded away, Julius Randle. Both played quite well. However, LeBron James and company were able to pull away with the victory. Here's a look at the top five player performances for this game.

Julius Randle - New Orleans Pelicans
With Anthony Davis playing limited minutes, Julius Randle has stepped up quite a bit and shown his skills. On Wednesday night, Randle led the Pelicans with 35 points, six rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block. He may not have been on the winning side, but he certainly reminded the Lakers why they shouldn't have traded him.

Jrue Holiday - New Orleans Pelicans
Jrue Holiday also hit plenty of big shots as his team battled for a win. Holiday was 8-for-19 from the field with 19 points, but also gave out 10 assists, and grabbed seven rebounds in the effort. He doesn't dunk all that often, but this breakaway play shows what the former All-Star is capable of.
