Things looked rough for the Lakers when they learned they'd be without LeBron for a key road trip in the West. However, Kuzma stepped up to lead his team to victory in overtime, 138-128. The second-year star had 32 points, eight rebounds, and four assists against OKC.

Joel Embiid - Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers also picked up a road win on Thursday at the expense of the Indiana Pacers. Joel Embiid helped lead the way with his 22 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists. The big man also recorded a steal and three blocks in the 120-96 win.

Nikola Jokic - Denver Nuggets

Another double-double performance on Thursday came courtesy of Nikola Jokic. The Denver Nuggets star recorded 18 points and 11 assists along with eight rebounds in his team's win over the Chicago Bulls.
