The Nebraska basketball team went into Thursday night's game hoping to pull off an upset against the number six team in the country. They lost to Michigan State 70-64 and Husker players and fans dealt with the disappointing loss as best they could. That was started by freshman guard Thomas Allen, who took to Twitter shortly after the defeat.
Wouldn’t trade this team for nothing. We will get through it 💯 pic.twitter.com/MkEVvwT2bg

Fans support Allen
One of the first reactions to Allen's tweet was a fan showing his son was quite the supporter.
Keep ballin’. My 9 yr old is behind you and the guys all the way. Go Big Red. pic.twitter.com/qJiu7e0hDA

Upbeat reactions
The Husker got quite a few upbeat reactions to his tweet, including this fan who still "loves the team"
Love this team! Sometimes the shots just don’t fall but love that you guys continued to fight despite the offense not being there at times tonight!

Plenty of season left
The loss wasn't great, but Husker fans understand the season is far from over.
Long season left! Keep ballin
