The Wisconsin Badgers are considered one of the top teams in the Big Ten but Minnesota staked its claim as an upstart this week with a big basketball upset. Players from both teams stood out in the contest.
Amir Coffey (Minnesota)
Coffey led all comers in the contest by scoring 21 points. He also hauled down six rebounds, had two assists and a steal.
Dupree McBrayer (Minnesota)
McBrayer was the only Gopher other than Coffey to score in double digits. He managed to score 14 points while hauling down four rebounds, two assists and two steals. McBrayer and Coffey combined for 35 of the Gophers' 59 points.
Why does “Eye of the Tiger” go through my head when I look at this?

Dupree McBrayer continues to show us how tough he is. Every. Day.

Ethan Happ (Wisconsin)
Despite the fact that he couldn't will his team to a win, Happ had himself a heck of a game. He led the Badgers in scoring with 17 while also getting eight rebounds. He had, three assists, two blocks and two steals as well. If there was one thing he did that hurt Wisconsin it was his 1-for-7 from the free throw line.
Ethan Happ leading the way early for Wisconsin with 4 points (2-3 FG) and 1 rebound. Khalil Iverson has the other 2 points for the #Badgers.
