Peter King appeared on Fox News this weekend and attempted to defend how ICE has handled the deaths of some migrant children by saying that "only two" have died. Twitter users pounced on the comment and had some choice comments of their own.
GOP Rep. Peter King praised ICE's "excellent record" since "only two children" have died in recent memory.

"These are the only two children that have died, certainly in recent memory ... considering what does happen in housing projects ... I think ICE has an excellent record." pic.twitter.com/Y2sMLRY8Eo
Chelsea Clinton weighs in
One of those who reacted to the comments was former first daughter Chelsea Clinton. She called out King and added that he had made some racist dog whistles.
For shame. No parent would say this about their own child. No person should say this about anyone’s children. “Excellent record” would be no deaths, no harm & no children in detention. And, please don’t miss the dog-whistle racism in the middle. https://t.co/ShyFf2BG6r

"Only Two"
One user focused on the "only two" comment and pointed out that King has long called himself "pro-life."
ONLY. TWO. so “pro-life”.

Anti-aborstion isn't pro life
One user went a bit further and pointed out that anti-abortion doesn't make someone pro life.

Bringing up the death penalty
One user pointed out that when you start minimizing death, you can take it to horrible lengths.
Its kinda like only a few dozen people were wrongfully convicted and given the death penalty in Texas.

The real monsters
One user made it clear what she thinks about Republicans.
The real monsters hide in suits & call themselves Republicans.
