Sunday's NFL schedule for Week 13 included plenty of intriguing matchups with many coming down to the wire. Others saw star performances for the record books including Tom Brady getting his 1,000th career rushing yard. Patrick Mahomes also continued his MVP quest, while the Rams keep looking like top contenders. Below are five of the star performers from Sunday's results.
Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs
The AFC's top team had a rough week in terms of news involving Kareem Hunt. The rest of the team shook off his dismissal to get a 40-33 win over Oakland on Sunday. Top MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns in the team's victory.

Phillip Lindsay - Denver Broncos
Don't look now, but Denver has managed to pull even in terms of their record, at 6-6. On Sunday, they picked up a huge performance on the ground from Lindsay with 157 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries, in a win over Cincinnati. His 65-yard breakaway run for a touchdown in the win is shown below.

Todd Gurley - Los Angeles Rams
Another star performance on the ground came via the NFL's top team and their best running back. Todd Gurley had 23 carries to pick up 132 yards and two touchdowns, in a 30-16 win at Detroit.

Marcus Mariota - Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans had their fans on the edge of their seats Sunday, but the team achieved a fourth quarter comeback behind Mariota. He'd finish the day with 282 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-35 completed passes. The Titans won the game, 26-22, over the Jets, to improve to 6-6 overall.

Tom Brady - New England Patriots
"Timeless Tom" and the Patriots had the Minnesota Vikings visiting on Sunday. While things were close for a while, Brady and company ultimately pulled away for the 24-10 win. Brady connected on 24-of-32 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown in coach Bill Belichick's 250th career victory.
