The NBA season is quickly moving towards the All-Star break in 2019. Teams are still putting their best feet forward and some players have been putting up some impressive numbers in the games. Below are five of the players who stood out in the NBA action on Tuesday (December 18).

Nikola Jokic - Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets picked up a home victory on Tuesday at the expense of the visiting Mavericks. Big man Nikola Jokic once again was a solid force, scoring 32 points to go with 16 boards and four assists, in the 126-118 win.

Jamal Murray - Denver Nuggets

Jokic's teammate Jamal Murray also helped lead the team to a seventh-straight win at home. Murray finished with 22 points on 55.6 percent shooting and also dished out a total of 15 assists to teammates.

D'Angelo Russell - Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have won sixth-straight; no lie. Tuesday night's game featured 22 points and 13 assists from D'Angelo Russell. That helped his team defeat LeBron James and the Lakers at Barclays Center.

John Collins - Atlanta Hawks

Three teams with losing records all pick up Ws on the same night? Better believe it. The Atlanta Hawks grabbed a victory against the visiting Washington Wizards, 118-110. Former Wake Forrest star John Collins recorded a double-double for the Hawks with 20 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Larry Nance Jr. - Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Pacers last night, thanks to a superb performance from Larry Nance Jr. The Cavs' big had a double-double of 15 points and 16 boards, but it was his tip-in with two seconds remaining that gave his team the win.
