The college basketball season rolled right along on Friday night as the Alabama Crimson Tide toppled the Penn State Nittany Lions 73-64 and several players stood out in the contest.
Lamar Stevens - Penn State
There weren't a ton of Penn State players that stood out, but Stevens managed to score 12 points, haul down four rebounds, dish out three assists and block two shots.

Josh Reaves - Penn State
Reaves only hit 4-of-10 shots but he scored nine points and had six rebounds and three assists in a losing effort.
Penn State came so close to a really good win at Alabama. I think it's reasonable to say that's one of three Big Ten teams with very little shot to make the Big Dance.

Trent Buttrick - Penn State
Coming off the bench, Buttrick couldn't lead the Nittany Lions to a comeback victory but he did hit all five of his shots while going 3-for-3 from three-point land. He ended up with 13 points and four rebounds.
When Alabama was down 14, I didn’t expect a comfortable win over Penn State. Nice comeback. #RollTide

Go watch some great hoops Saturday.
Auburn at home vs future NBA Star Ja Morant, worth the trip. #WarEagle
I’ll be at @SamfordMBB 2pm on campus.
