The Nuggets have surged to an early 9-1 record this season. Behind their early excellence is a number of players, including Jamal Murray. He scorched the Celtics for 48 points on Monday on 19-of-30 shooting, including five three-pointers made. Murray also grabbed five boards and had four assists.

Zach Lavine - Chicago Bulls
LaVine was only outdone by Murray on Monday night. It was a career-high night, as the Bulls star keeps on scoring in bunches. In his latest outing against the Knicks, LaVine had 41 points on 13-of-25 shooting. He completely filled up the stat line, with four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks. The Bulls won, 116-115 in NYC.

Tobias Harris - Los Angeles Clippers
On Monday, the Clippers improved to 6-4 overall and 4-1 home, after a 120-109 win against the Clippers. Tobias Harris led the way for Los Angeles with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. He's currently leading the team in scoring with 21.3 a game.

James Harden - Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets haven't really had the takeoff they wanted to start this new NBA season. However, they got a bit closer to the .500 level after a 98-94 win over Indiana. Reigning NBA MVP James Harden finished with 28 points, four rebounds, and six assists in the latest win.

Josh Richardson - Miami Heat
Josh Richardson also helped his team get nearer to the .500 point on Monday. The Miami Heat star shot 11-of-21 including a 3-of-5 three-point rate for 27 points. Richardson also had eight rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked a couple shots in Miami's 120-115 win at Detroit.
