James Palmer Jr continues to struggle to find his shot

Despite averaging over 17 points a game, James Palmer Jr is struggling in the early going. He's shooting just 38.8 percent from the floor (down from 44 percent last year) and a miserable 17.9 percent from 3-point land (down from 30 percent). He went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc against Western Illinois and 7-for-18 from the floor. He still managed to score 19 points. Imagine what he could do if he can start sinking more shots.
