The young Huskers signal caller is wise beyond his years. If Martinez starts hot, he will be a handful all day.
Ohio State's defense
JD Spielman and Stanley Morgan can make things tough on the OSU defense, that is giving up nearly 300 yards passing per contest. These two wideouts can make things difficult for Ohio State’s defense, who will also have to keep one eye at all times on Martinez due to his great running ability.
Running game
The Buckeyes have a good ground game, but it is no where near what it has been over the past three seasons. Ohio State has averaged 3 yards per rush over the past four games, but they are giving up almost twice that number on defense. Devine Ozigbo will be key for Big Red Saturday.
Big Red Momentum
Does momentum matter? Yes! The Huskers have played much better than their record indicates and on the heels of two straight victories, Nebraska is playing their best football of the season.
Not a chance
No one is giving the Huskers a chance to win this game - especially Vegas oddsmakers. Nebraska is a 21-point underdog this Saturday against Ohio State. When the only people who believe you can pull off a big upset are your teammates, the “us against the world” mentality can be a blessing in disguise.
