We're smack dab in the middle of the Holiday season. The weather is getting colder. It's time to watch a ton of television and Netflix should be on that television. There are some rather big films coming in December.
8 Mile (December 1)
It's crazy when you think this movie hit 16 years ago. The flick, treated as a kind of light biopic of Marshall Mathers put Eminem on the rest of the map not already covered by his musical career.
Friday (December 1)
This one is even older but it was incredibly popular back in the day. These days it's considered a cult classic. It put Chris Tucker on the map and continued to push Ice Cube's career as an actor.
Terminator Salvation (December 1)
This was an attempt at a "Terminator" reboot. It in fact, did not do the job. Despite being the epitome of a blockbuster, it failed miserably among the critics.
District 9 (December 4)
The movie centers around a race of aliens that have been shunted into ghettos in South Africa. It is also a tale about apartheid in the country.
Avengers: Infinity War (December 25)
The massive "Avengers" in scale and scope is coming to the streaming service as a kind of Christmas present to everyone who subscribes to Netflix.
