Repeating career years
The big reason the Las Vegas Golden Knights had such a good year is because a lot of castoffs had huge seasons. Players like William Karlsson are going to need to come back and show last season wasn't a fluke.
All of the pucks we’re giving out tonight have William Karlsson’s face on them......

New look second line
The Golden Knights revamped their roster a bit this offseason. That includes adding Paul Stastny and Max Pacioretty. They replace David Perron and James Neal. Two players who had very good seasons a year ago. That second line is going to need to step up and still be productive for Vegas to have continued success.

Getting around Schmidt's absence
Nate Schmidt has been suspended for the first quarter of the season thanks to violating the league's drug policy. 20 games can make or break a season. The Golden Knights are going to have to find a way to overcome his absence.
