UFC 229 Fight Card Odds: McGregor vs Nurmagedov pay-per-view

A look at the odds on favorites to win each of Saturday night's (October 6) UFC 229 PPV fights.

1

Khabib Nurmagomedov -175 vs Conor McGregor +148

The reigning UFC Lightweight Champion is the odds-on-favorite to win the main event match. However, plenty of MMA fans are looking toward the underdog for a possible payout. McGregor hasn't fought in any capacity since the Mayweather boxing match he lost. Still, if someone was going to shock everyone, it would seem to be the "Notorious" one.

2

Tony Ferguson -330 vs Anthony Pettis +260

In the co-main event, Tony Ferguson is also making his big return to the Octagon. The former interim UFC Lightweight Champion will be the favorite in his matchup against Anthony Pettis. "Showtime" Pettis has a 21-7 record overall, compared to Ferguson's 25-3 ahead of this matchup.

3

Dominick Reyes -240 vs Ovince Saint Preux +190

Saint Preux currently ranks at No. 7 among all UFC Lightweight division competitors, with the favorite, Reyes, ranking at No. 12. However, "The Devastator" comes into this match a perfect 9-0. He'll test that undefeated record against the powerful Saint Preux (22-11).

4

Alexander Volkov -170 vs Derrick Lewis +145

Things are already heating up ahead of this UFC 229 fight! During the face-off at Friday's weigh-in, Lewis and Volkov got right up in each others' mugs. Lewis decided to knock Volkov's cap off, leading to the Russian nearly landing a blow to the face. Dana White and staff stepped in to separate the two competitors. Volkov will be the favorite, but this one should be interesting!

5

Felice Herrig -120 vs Michelle Waterson +100

"The Karate Hottie" brings a slightly better record to this matchup at 15-6 overall. However, Felice "Lil Bulldog" Herrig (14-7), is the slight favorite here, per Vegas Insider. Watson has gone 1-2 over her last three fights and 3-2 over her last five. Herrig is 4-1 over her last five and coming off a split decision loss at UFC 223.
