Drew Brees - QB, Saints
On "Monday Night Football," Brees guided his Saints to another win, keeping them atop the NFC South division. In addition to the victory, Brees surpassed Peyton Manning to take over the NFL's all-time passing yards record. Bravo to Mr. Brees on his Hall of Fame-worthy career as it continues forth!

Isaiah Crowell - RB, Jets
Talk about a game by the Jets' running back! Crowell put in the top performance of anyone on the ground in Week 5. On 15 carries, he had 219 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown run. He also had one reception for 12 yards in his team's 34-16 victory over Denver.

Tom Brady - QB, Patriots
New England may be finding their stride after critics dismissed them through their first few losses. Against the Colts on "Thursday Night Football," Brady had 341 yards and three touchdown passes on 34-of-44 passing. It helps that he had the services of his top receivers: Gordon, Gronk, and Edelman all available as targets. This Pats team could become scary as the season progresses!

Phillip Rivers - QB, Chargers
Another quarterback on the winning side of things this past weekend was Rivers. The veteran quarterback had a stellar game, with 22-of-27 passing for 339 yards and two touchdowns. That helped his team to a 26-10 win over Oakland, and improved L.A.'s record to 3-2 for the season.

Adam Thielen - WR, Vikings
While DeAndre Hopkins' 151-yard performance for the Texans gets honorable mention, Thielen had a score in his game. The Vikings' wide receiver tallied 116 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in his team's 23-21 victory over the Eagles. Thielen has himself among potential MVP contenders early this season.
