The Nebraska football coaching staff was very active this Friday. They made several scholarship offers to a wide range of players. Check out who earned an offer.
Troy Simon
Simon is a JUCO cornerback and continues a bit of a trend for the Cornhuskers. The squad has been getting back into Junior College players in a big way over the last few days. Simon officially counts as a diamond in the rough, considering the Nebraska football team is the first official offer from an FBS school.
Thank you God for blessing me with an offer from the University of Nebraska pic.twitter.com/XA4mTwzhqU

Caleb Johnson
Speaking of JUCO offers, the Huskers are also going hard after Junior College linebacker Caleb Johnson. Unlike Simon, Johnson is far from an unknown. He already has eight offers, including Texas and UCLA, among other Power 5 schools.

Brandon Turnage
Brandon Turnage is a different kind of prospect, for a number of reasons. For one, he's already a commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He's been a commit since 2017. You've got to wonder if the Huskers heard something since they're going after what appears to be a pretty solid get for the Crimson Tide.

Jarrian Jones
Maybe it's just the day of the year when Nebraska football coaches decide it's time to go after players that are committed to SEC teams. Jarrian Jones is a four-star safety who is currently committed to Mississippi State.

Jimmy Fritzsche
Fritzsche stands out from the rest of the pack, for a number of reasons. Not only is he the only offensive player to get an offer, so far, today, but he's also a real diamond in the rough. Despite being a high schooler in the 2019 class, he doesn't have any kind of a rating on 247Sports. The tight end from Greenville, North Carolina just got his first Power 5 offer from the Nebraska football team.
Extremely honored and thrilled to receive a B1G offer from the University of Nebraska!!!!!🔴⚪️🌽🌽 #GBR #GoHuskers #B1G @GregAustin2717 @coach_frost @train0187 @GHSFBRecruits @GregSmithHV @247Sports pic.twitter.com/gmJ2fMB3pt
