The Miami Dolphins are taking on the Houston Texans, on October 25, and the two teams are both still trying to get ready for a playoff run. What should you be watching for in this game?
Brock Osweiler gets the start for the Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have ruled out starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. That means former Houston Texans quarterback gets the call. He's actually played fairly well this season so far, throwing six touchdowns and two interceptions. The team is 1-1 in his starts.
Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson won't play
Osweiler is going to be a bit hamstrung. The Dolphins' two biggest playmakers at receiver are both out against the Texans. That's going to make the backup's job just a bit harder.
All eyes on the Texans pass rush
Osweiler has always been a bit of a statue in the pocket. He was sacked four times in his team's loss to the Detroit Lions last week. Expect the Texans to blitz early and often. They can get plenty of pressure with their defensive line alone thanks to JJ Watts.
DeShaun Watson will play
Speaking of injured quarterbacks, Watson has had his share of bumps and bruises this season. He's still going to get the start for the Texans and that's a good thing.
Lamar Miller could be the difference maker
With Watson banged up, it might come down to Lamar Miller again. He had his best game of the year last week, when he went for 100 yards for the first time all season. He also scored his first rushing touchdown. It might be the start of something.
