Florida chomps the rest of the SEC East
Florida Gators fans probably didn't expect to have quite this good of a season in Dan Mullens' first. After an upset of then 5th ranked LSU, the Gators jumped eight spots to 14th in the country.Of course, because polls always have to show their flaws, they are one spot behind the team they just beat.

LSU takes a tumble
Speaking of the resurgence of Florida, LSU was the victim of that. The Tigers had been surprising some people with their 'top ten' appearance. They aren't there anymore as they fell eight spots to 13th with the loss.

Bulldogs bite gets them into Top 25
The Mississippi State Bulldogs had been having a disappointing season. Perhaps they've turned things around with a win over then eighth ranked Auburn. That allowed MSU to jump into the Top 25, at number 24.
