Super Bowl freebies? Count me in! The Super Bowl is America’s unofficial holiday for sports fans, and what better way to celebrate while watching the big game than with one of the most popular food items in the country...pizza! How about free pizza?

Now that I have your attention, here are a few ways you can score free pizza, along with a few other great deals that will be going on just in time for the big game.

Pizza and the Super Bowl just seem to go hand in hand. Known as one of the busiest days for pizza delivery drivers, millions of folks across the country will be gathering to watch Super Bowl 52 this Sunday and many of them will be ordering carry out food, with pizza being right at the top of the list.

With that in mind, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s are ready to become your go-to choice for the big game.

Papa John’s

First up is Papa John’s. The proclaimed, official "Pizza of the NFL" maker is running a great deal all week long before the big game arrives this Sunday.

Here is how it works.

When you place an order for $15 on or before February 4, 2018, you qualify for 25 Papa Rewards bonus points to be used for a free pizza. You must order online and use the promo code SUPERBOWL52.

You can then redeem your bonus points for a FREE Large Pizza with up to three toppings or for a variety of other select menu items any day after the Super Bowl. You must redeem your bonus points by February 18, 2018.

Pizza Hut

The offer for Pizza Hut is a bit different than Papa John’s.

Pizza Hut is offering a free pizza to everyone and you don’t need to purchase anything to get it! Here is the catch though. To earn this pizza, either the Eagles or Patriots have to score within the first 14 seconds of the game.

According to NBC4i.com, If the record for the fastest touchdown at a Super Bowl is broken, Pizza Hut will give its Hut Rewards members a free medium two-topping pizza starting on February 9.

So, if you are not a member, be sure to sign up. The returning team needs to score a touchdown in less than 14 seconds of the opening kickoff during Super Bowl 52. The record was set by Chicago Bears wide receiver Devin Hester in 2007 after he returned the opening kickoff 92 yards in 14 seconds.

Hey, you never know, it could happen!
