An alleged Couple of Cannibals told Russian Police that they murdered at least 30 people to eat the flesh of their victims. Cannibalism is an act of eating a living being of the same species. It is only considered Cannibalism when a being of one species eats the flesh of another being of the same species.

Cannibalism: couple arrested for killing and eating 30 victims
The prisoners, a 35-year-old man, and his wife claim to have made more than thirty causalities since 1999.
Officials from Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the department responsible for investigating crimes, confirmed that they found remains of at least eight dead bodies. More than 25 eaten up bodies were claimed by the couple Dmitry Baksheev (35) and Natalia Baksheev (42).
Authorities told the media that they are also looking for more remains to check the truth of the confession by the couple. The Russian news agency Mash, which has ties to Russian officials, said the couple stored human remains in the refrigerator, freezer, wine cellar and even in glass containers, gathering a kind of preserve.
Moreover, at least 19 skin pieces of victims have been found.
The confession
Dmitry Baksheev and Natalia Basksheev arrested after a cell phone located in the town of Krasnodar containing photos of a man posing for selfies along with the parts of a human body. The police eventually came to the couple, when confronted by law enforcement officers, confessed to the crimes.
The couple claimed they used ether and the drug Corcalol, which contains phenobarbital (chemicals are known to have a powerful sedative effect) to make their victims sleep. The residence of Baksheev located in the shelter of the Military Academy of Aviation which belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The alleged cannibal woman worked as a nurse and since being detained has undergone a series of psychiatric tests.
Medical examinations of the headhunter couple found that they are “mentally healthy” and able to completely understand their actions.
The investigation evolved after investigating the death of a woman and additional murders came into light after that.
