Varicose Veins (also named as varicosities) occur when your arteries and veins enlarge in size. They get filled with blood and can lead to death. The condition is common in women from 25 to 35 years. Most often, varicose veins appear on arms and lower legs.

The disease is caused by abnormal blood pressure, obesity, smoking, lack of sleep, depression, anxiety, menopause. Pregnant women should take special care of their health as varicose veins may damage their internal and external body organs. In some cases, you may develop discoloration and swelling.

If the veins and arteries bleed significantly, you are likely to suffer from an ulcer.

Consult a doctor as soon as you see visible veins on your arms and legs. Tests such as venograms and ultrasounds are often recommended; the following home remedies, however, can prevent the disease to a greater extent.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the most powerful and efficient treatments for varicose veins. It acts as a natural body cleanser and improves blood flow. Apply diluted apple cider vinegar on the skin over the infected veins and arteries, and massage for a few minutes.

Alternatively, you can add three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to one cup of water and stir it for a few minutes.

Include some honey to enhance its taste, and drink the solution twice per day. For better results, try the mixture of honey and apple cider vinegar for at least thirty days.

Cayenne pepper

Cayenne pepper is a miraculous treatment for varicose veins. It is a rich source of vitamins, antioxidants, and bioflavonoids. The pepper improves blood circulation and prevents diabetes, high blood pressure, swollen veins, and stomach burning.

Add three tablespoons of cayenne pepper powder to one glass of hot water and stir for a few minutes. Drink this mixture four to five times a day for at least one month.

Olive oil

Olive Oil is one of the most beneficial and useful ingredients. It boosts immunity, increases blood circulation, treats varicose veins, and prevents diabetes.

Regular massage of olive oil helps reduce inflammation and pain.

Mix equal amounts of vitamin E and olive oil, and warm it for a few minutes. Massage the affected area for at least ten minutes, and repeat the process twice per day.

Garlic

Garlic is one of the best herbs for reducing inflammation. It prevents varicose veins, type-2 diabetes, and obesity. Garlic also breaks down harmful toxins in the blood vessels and improves circulation. Slice up five to seven garlic cloves, and put in a clean glass. Extract the juice of four oranges and add it to the glass. Include three tablespoons of almond oil and one teaspoon of honey to enhance its taste.
