NBA trade rumors are surrounding Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe. The veteran playmaker is on his way out of Arizona following a controversial tweet. A potential team that could acquire him is the Milwaukee Bucks, who reportedly offered an NBA champion.

According to reports, the Phoenix Suns want Malcolm Brogdon if they are to send Eric Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks. However, it seems like the Bucks have zero interest in parting ways with Brogdon, who is a vital member of the roster. The 24-year-old is one of their rising stars and won the Rookie of the Year award last season.

The Journal Times' Gery Woelfel reported that the Bucks have an alternative offer for Bledsoe. Woelfel wrote that sources said the Bucks are willing to ship Matthew Dellavedova to Arizona. Dellavedova, a one-time champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, is in his second year representing Milwaukee.

Dellavedova headed to Milwaukee in 2016 via sign-and-trade. In his first season (2016-17) with the Bucks, he averaged 7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per contest. He started in most of the games he played last season. This season, in six games so far, he just had one start.

At the moment, it is uncertain if the Suns are interested in a deal involving Dellavedova instead of Brogdon. The Bucks may include one or a few more players to sweeten their offer.

Scoring help

Gery Woelfel also mentioned in his report the reason why the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in Eric Bledsoe. Woelfel stated that the Bucks need another scorer who can help the likes of franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Bledsoe has proven in his time with the Phoenix Suns that he is an offensive weapon.

During the previous season, the 27-year-old averaged a career-best 21.1 points per outing for the Suns. Bledsoe accomplished this without jeopardizing his numbers in rebounding, assists, and steals.

Tough competition

If the Milwaukee Bucks are hell-bent on landing Eric Bledsoe, they must step up their game since several other teams want him too.

ESPN suggested that the Denver Nuggets might be leading in the Eric Bledsoe sweepstakes at this point. A potential deal between the Suns and the Nuggets will include Emmanuel Mudiay. Kenneth Faried may also be part of a future NBA trade.

There is an ample amount of time for the Suns to determine to whom they are giving up Bledsoe. Maybe, for now, they are assessing all the options they have.
